I am a miracle, I know because I've braided my live.

My creative process often begins with the desire to paint, I look for my canvas according to the energy I feel, they are usually large canvases, from 4 square feet I feel comfortable. I work with recycled materials, so I look for media that I can combine and that I find interesting.

This creative stage of painting began 10 years ago, my graphic elements are not very varied, but I intervene creatively, it is always a different emotion that initiates it and culminates in it.

I painted this heart with my free hand, that is, everything flowed and I recorded it on video, because my production can be very intense, and documenting allows me to give myself space from afar, and at the same time visually read what I want to follow, everything is decided while creating, and it returns again and again to the mental inventory of available materials and my dialogue with creation.

Painting is my most pleasurable therapy, and this time it started with an intense source of pain, and I'm just trying to show myself that, despite how bad I feel, I will continue to create objects, paintings, drawings, that in their eagerness to heal me, give beauty to my world.

I admire the traditional art of Kintsugi, which highlights cracks in pottery with gold dust, to celebrate its history and imperfections.

I decided to use gold leaf to give golden touches to the flowers, because they are the fruit that arises from that scar in the heart, from that reflected and learned history, which is the Golden Miracle, the flowering of our Soul after pain.

She ends by framing this Milagrito with a braid, as part of the process of remembering the course of life, the fabric of relationships and emotions.
